Save the Children South Africa CEO, Gugu Ndebele, has assumed her new role as the member of the Executive Committee of the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children. The partnership is a place where all major stakeholder groups come together to channel their actions and resources to end violence against children (VAC).  
 

Save the Children South Africa (SCSA) calls on the South African Police Services to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that the man who allegedly raped a 7-year-old at a Dros restaurant in Pretoria last week, remains behind bars. We welcome the fact that the suspect will remain in custody while the police continue with their probe.
